“Fahrstuhlmusik zum Schafott”

The rapper Eloquent from Wiesbaden and the producer Hulk Hodn from Cologne have jointly produced an album called “Fahrstuhlmusik zum Schafott”. Borrowed from the 1958 French crime film “Elevator to the Gallows” by Louis Malle – an underground rap masterpiece was born. The record fuses Eloquent’s gritty and uncompromising lyrics with the sample-based beats of Hulk Hodn. We visually supported it through symbolic illustration and color pallet inspired from evening sundowner.
