Strava is a global leader in sports and activity tracking, packing accuracy and ease-of-use into a simple App. Strava Germany came to us needing a design for their own challenges that needed to scream ‘german style’ on first glance. They also needed a simple numbering system for each challenge to make them collectible, creating high demand among athletes to earn the entire collection for their trophy case. Our concept takes the famous Bauhaus visual language and translates it into new-wave Strava numbers. Each number is built with simplistic round forms and geometric shapes, nestled up against and overlapping each other, finished off with fine lines that represent the various routes athletes might run, bike or skate. A clear color pallet makes the series identifiable and adds a collectible charm.
